A few weeks ago our partners, Easyshed, invited us along to take part in a surprise, surprise! shoot they were involved in. They were building a shed for lucky lady, Paula Kershaw who helps out the local community with her charity One Good Turn.
Sam from KNBP & the Easyshed team left Birmingham at 4am. After a good drive we arrived in Huddersfield and made our way to Paula’s house, when we arrived Peter was on hand to help the lads unload the shed panels and carry them through to the back garden.
Work on the garden had already begun the previous day, a team of landscape gardeners were finishing off a decking area whilst the newly layed cement base for the shed was drying, once the base was ready to go Easyshed started to erect the shed with help from the Kernshaw family, the 60 minutes makeover team and even Peter. The Shed was built and felted by midday which left us with a couple of hours to paint the shed and get the rest of the garden cleaned up ready for the live broadcast with Holly Willoughby at the ITV studies in London.
Before we left Sam got the oppurtunity to give Peter a copy of our prospectus and talk about our charity and explained how we help separated families. Peter loved what the charity stood for and wished us the best of luck with everything for the future. Below are some of the photos Sam managed to take
