SUBWAY Helping Hearts Family 5K Fun Run
The SUBWAY Helping Hearts? Family 5K series is back for 2015! With lots of free and fun entertainment including face-painting, games and a bouncy castle, it?s the perfect day out for the whole family to enjoy!
This year you can either take part in a 5K Fun Run or at the 4.5K mark, enter our ?Field of Fresh?, tackling a giant inflatable obstacle course before racing to the finish line. Children under 12 will go free*, and it?s only £6.99 for everyone else, with all proceeds raised, including your entry fee, going to Heart Research UK. The money raised will help support the Heart Research UK and SUBWAY® Healthy Heart Grants scheme, to help fund heart health initiatives in your area.
In addition to the 5K fun run, participants will:

LEGO City Deep Sea Explorers
Visitors will get the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of the ocean and the evolution of the mesmerising sea life creatures, some of which have been around for over 200 million years, outliving the dinosaurs!
A host of exciting activities, workshops and talks will take place during this special themed week. Visitors of all ages will be listening in thrill and anticipation as they learn how past events unfolded and how the sea life creatures formed.
Kids Run Free running event
Totally free. Warm ups start at 8:45am. Races start at 9:00 am
Race distances:
0-2 year-olds run 50m
3-4 year-olds run 100m
5-6 year-olds run 250m
7-8 year-olds run 500m
7-16 year olds can run 1000m if they think they’re tough enough!
