Kids Need Both Parents have been awarded a grant by the Big Lottery Fund! The money raised will go towards our KNBP DIY Drama project. The project will take place at Kingsland primary school, based in Kingstanding. Teacher’s will identify 6 pupils per term to take part in this exciting project! Not only will it be creative, interactive and fun for the children, but they will also explore the issues of separation and loss within the production’s plot. As well as the children performing the production, two drama technicians will support them with lighting, sound effects and creating puppets. Our senior practitioner, Sam Kiernan will also support the children with the storyline as well as any issues children want to bring forward of their own.
We hope to make this a success in order to deliver the project in schools across Birmingham. We want to thank the Big Lottery for awarding KNBP the grant!
As the project takes place, we will update you on the children’s progress and the outcomes of the project!
